The village is a 51-acre master-planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. The is a transformative residential program that aims to serve individuals who have been living on the streets while also empowering the surrounding community into a lifestyle of service with the homeless.

This community is a development of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, a social outreach ministry that initiated the project to respond to chronic homelessness. The beauty of which Mobile Loaves & Fishes started is that it’s all a result of a collaborative effort between a variety of partners, companies, organizations, and families who pitch in whatever they can. No doubt, Bryan Cumby is proud to be a part of this.

The Village provides homeless citizens of Austin a chance to heal, rediscover hope, and restore their dignity. The best part of it all is that they finally have a place to call home.
